Freddy D'Angelo really brought the vision for the "Forgotten Melody" music video to life when he go to come to Hannibal, MO in mid January. Released today, we couldn't be happier with his hard work and ability! Go watch it until it hurts and give it a 'share' as we anxiously await the release of the new Wartooth EP this month!

Here we are. Two days from the 8th annual EPIC MUSIC SHOWCASE! We've got our last band practice before the show TONIGHT and we'll be running the set list for the show. We're beyond stoked and we hope you are as well!
Get your tickets through the Facebook event page or through Eventbrite's website NOW for just $15. Plus, you can add on an American Hitmen Meet-And-Greet for just $10 more! If you wait until the day of the show, the cost is an even $20 at the gate. Speaking of gate... It will open at 5pm with that Meet-And-Greet starting at 5:15. Sixes High will kick off the show at 6pm with Outrun the Fall following them. Then, it's our time to shine! Following us will be our good friends in American Hitmen. Proceeds from this event PLUS the official event shirts will be donated to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. That is an organization that is very near and dear to our hearts as 3 of the 5 of us in the band are career firefighters for the City of Hannibal, MO. Our friend, Dan Cord, explains this event best in this interview that aired yesterday on 105.9 The Grizz. Check it out and we hope to see you all this Saturday at EPIC MUSIC SHOWCASE 2020! We're sure you all have noticed that Covid has put a damper on events, music releases and all things entertainment. Our summer schedule has definitely not been excluded! We had plans to play two MASSIVE shows here in Missouri... You know, just playing shows alongside the likes of Warrant, Quiet Riot, Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet and a ton more. But, Covid had other plans. Oh, and this new album, "Wartooth," was supposed to have been released by now.
With that being said, we are very fortunate to have remained healthy in a relatively "low risk" region of the world. So, that's something to be happy about! We are still pushing forward on the album and, with any luck, it will release in the coming months. Our producer, Scott Donegan, has been very patient throughout this process and we think the end result will be something that people will really like! Also, we are stoked that Epic Music Showcase 2020 has NOT been cancelled and we cannot wait to take the stage alongside our friends in the American Hitmen plus St. Louis bands Outrun the Fall and Sixes High on August 22nd! This will be a truly EPIC show and proceeds raised will go to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Plus, the event shirts looks pretty amazing as well. Be sure to click HERE to go check out the event page and make plans to attend this great show. First of all, we have announced the name of our third studio album set to release later this summer... "Wartooth" will feature a bunch of songs we've been working on for the last year plus. Two of these songs have been played out at live shows: "Alone" and "Move." Both have been well received and will make for great representations of our true selves on the album!
With the announcement of the new album's name, we released a limited edition "Wartooth" Tee that is only available through the band. Check out our Facebook page to claim yours now as they are going fast (already out of 3XLs!)... Yesterday, the announcement was made that we'll be playing Epic Music Showcase 2020 alongside our friends in the American Hitmen! Also on the bill are St. Louis rockers Sixes High and Outrun the Fall. Going to be a truly EPIC show as we'll be raising money for National Fallen Firefighters Foundation again this year! Mark your calendars for August 22! Check out our "Shows" tab for more info. Ok. That catches everyone up... For now! Be sure to follow us on all our social media outlets to stay up to date! Instagram- @officialnowake Twitter- @NOWAKEmusic Facebook- facebook.com/nowakemusic We've officially begun the recording process for NOWAKE album III with Scott Donegan and his protege, Clay... and typically we like to "lay low" through this process. BUT, we just couldn't help but to make these following HUGE conert announcements: MAY 23, 2020 - QUIET RIOT, BLACKFOOT AND MOLLY HATCHET PLUS MORE!
We're stoked to be able to play alongside such iconic rock bands! Check out our "SHOWS" page for more details and links. We have fallen victim to the old "we don't have time update our website" routine! All good though. Here is an early 2020 update!
We recently played Pop's venue in Sauget, IL (just across the river from downtown St. Louis) and it was a great time! We look forward to playing there again soon. We used a few of photographer Jason Wilson's pics to update this site, so look around for them! We're currently working on our third studio album! We'll look to have at least 6 of our best songs recorded and mastered by our good friend Scott Donegan and hope to release the album this spring or early summer. Two of the songs that will be on the album have been played out at recent shows. "Move" is a high energy tune by Sean that starts fast-paced and hits you right in the jaw with a sudden "grunge" feel. Think Alice in Chains or Soundgarden sneaking up and robbing you before you notice... The other song you may have hear if you've been to any recent shows is Austin's song, "Alone." It has a certain "alt rock" vibe while mixing in some great lead guitar riffs by our man, Austin. Look for these two to be highlighted on the upcoming album! Ok, let's not make a habit of forgetting to update the website, alright? LOL For all things NOWAKE, remember to follow us on our main social media accounts: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter PLUS Spotify, YouTube and wherever else we're sneaking around these days... -out |
