Tomorrow night is going to be great. Not only do we get the privilege of playing a live show for the fine folks of this area yet again, but we get to do so alongside some amazing talent! We will be sharing the stage at historic Turner Hall in Quincy, IL with George Cate (our good friend and former lead singer of the legendary local act Predawn Hour) and Logos. As many of you know, George (and his former band) is a big reason that we are a band today! They not only provided inspiration in a musical aspect for YEARS, but also wrote the book on how we perceived live rock shows. George even stepped in and sang at an event as OUR SINGER when we were in between vocalists. So, to be able to share the stage with George is always a good time! Not to mention, we've got a few songs up our sleeve where George will be on stage with us! To up the ante even further, another friend of the band, Dillon Smith, will be taking the stage to play lead guitar for those songs as well!
Logos... Logos... Logos... Where to start? Yeah, they were voted St. Louis' Best Rock Band a few years ago (and there are only a few thousand of those in the area, right?) but, what do YOU really need to know about these guys? We've have been fortunate enough to see them play Turner Hall twice. If you did not see them either of those times, well... We're sorry. You missed some great music. They are extremely talented. They play their respective instruments at another level. Oh, and Cullen has got some serious pipes on him as well! The quote we've heard in regards to their overall sound more than a few times is, "If Rush and Led Zeppelin had a love child, it would be Logos". So in one epic nutshell, WE HOPE TO SEE ALL YOU ROCK SUPPORTERS OUT IN FULL-FORCE TO SHOW LOGOS HOW WE ROLL!
P.S. Buy any and all Logos merch while at the show so they'll come back and visit us again! :)
